This article presents a complete and exact description of the lotuses (centers) within the human body, as detailed in the original text Kabir Sagar (Anurag Sagar and Bhavtaran Bodh). The knowledge has been given by Kabir Sahib. Further concrete knowledge has been given by Sant Garib Das Ji Maharaj who gained it from Kabir Sahib too.
Introduction to the Lotuses Within the Human Body
God Kabir has described the lotuses present within the human body. These lotuses are arranged in an order from the base of the body upward, each having a specific number of petals, associated deities, and a defined number of chants.

It has four petals. Its deity is Ganesha.
The number of chants associated with this lotus is 600 (six hundred).

Summary According to Sant Garibdas
Garib Das described the knowledge of these lotuses in the following way:
The descriptions of the Mool, Swad, Nabhi, Heart, and Throat lotuses remain as stated above.
The Trikuti Lotus is described as having two petals, and it is in this lotus that the Satguru, identified as Kabir, resides.
This forms the conclusion of the above section.
Accurate Knowledge of the Lotuses in the Body
The following section provides a further detailed and precise description.
The First to Fifth Lotuses (Reaffirmed)
- The first lotus is the Mool Lotus, with four petals, and its deity is Ganesha.
- The second is the Swad Lotus, with six petals, and its deities are Brahma and Savitri.
- The third is the Nabhi Lotus, with eight petals, and its deities are Lakshmi and Vishnu.
- The fourth is the Heart Lotus, with twelve petals, and its deities are Parvati and Shiva.
- The fifth is the Throat Lotus, with sixteen petals, and its deity is Durga (Avidya).
The Sixth Lotus: Detailed Description of Sangam Lotus
The sixth lotus, called the Sangam Lotus, is located before the Trikuti, at the second end of the Sushumna channel.
- It has three petals and is associated with Saraswati. It is also stated that Durga resides here in another form.
- Along with her, 720 million beautiful goddesses reside here.
The three petals each have distinct characteristics:
- In one petal resides the Supreme God in another form
- In another petal resides Saraswati along with 720 million goddesses, who attract ascending devotees and entangle them
- In the third petal resides Kaal in another form, along with millions of youthful deities who attract and trap souls
It is also stated that in one of the petals, the Supreme God remains present to alert His devotees so that they do not become trapped by these attractions.
The Seventh Lotus: Trikuti Lotus
The seventh lotus is the Trikuti Lotus.
It has two petals—one black and one white:
- In the black petal resides Kaal in the form of a Satguru
- In the white petal resides the True Being (Satya Purush) in the form of a Satguru
The Eighth Lotus: Two Distinct Forms
There are two different eighth lotuses
1. The Thousand-Petaled Lotus (Sahasrar)
This lotus has one thousand petals and is located in the uppermost part of the head, referred to as the cosmic region. In this lotus, Kaal Niranjan has created an illusion where only light is visible, shining in each petal.
It is also stated that Kabir resides here in a hidden form, and that divine power is present in every lotus.
Those who reach this state through practices like chanting “Om” and performing intense yogic discipline move in the void but are eventually destroyed during cosmic dissolution and are reborn.
2. The Eighth Lotus on the Path to Satlok
Another eighth lotus exists on the path leading toward Satlok. This lotus has ten petals and lies in the path towards Mini Satlok
(For Brahm practitioners, the thousand-petaled lotus is considered the eighth lotus, where Niranjan resides)
The Ninth Lotus: Entry Toward Satlok
The ninth lotus is located in Mini Satlok.
Another reference mentions a third eighth lotus in the realm of Akshar Purush, but it is not described here, as it exists beyond the physical body in the subtle body (Sukshm shareer).
Final Description of the Ninth Lotus
In another description, the ninth lotus is said to have sankh (100 quadrillion) petals. In this lotus resides the Complete Supreme Being.
