What Did Kabir Sahib Reveal to King Amar Singh About Yamlok and the Detailed Punishments of Hell?

The sacred narration of Kabir Sahib to his devoted disciple Dharamdas presents a complete and uncompromising account of what lies beyond death. In this detailed revelation, Kabir Sahib describes how He personally took King Amar Singh to Yamlok, showed him the system of judgement, and then revealed the full extent of punishments in hell. Taking King Amar Singh to the Realm of Judgement

Kabir Sahib explains that He took the soul of King Amar Singh upward into the higher realms and brought him before Chitra and Gupta, the two divine record keepers. Chitra records every action performed openly, while Gupta records every hidden action performed in secrecy.

As soon as Kabir Sahib arrived, both Chitra and Gupta stood up in respect and honored Him. However, they questioned His decision to bring such a sinful soul to higher realms. They stated that according to their records, every action must be accounted for, and no soul can escape its consequences.

Kabir Sahib replied that King Amar Singh had received Satnaam. This created doubt in their minds, as they believed that all actions must be experienced fully.

To remove their doubt, Kabir Sahib demonstrated a clear example. He touched a piece of iron with a philosopher’s stone, and immediately the iron turned into gold. He then explained that His Naam is like that philosopher’s stone. When a soul truly receives it, its very nature changes, and it becomes pure.

Seeing this, Chitra and Gupta were astonished and bowed before Him.

Yamraj Is Commanded to Show the Reality of Hell

All of this was being witnessed by Yamraj. Kabir Sahib then instructed Yamraj to take King Amar Singh and show him Yampuri and the regions of hell. Following this command, Yamraj sent two of his messengers along with the king.

The king was then taken into the depths of Narak (Hell), where the reality of punishment was revealed in full detail.

The Complete Description of the 84 Pits of Hell

As King Amar Singh entered hell, he witnessed severe and continuous suffering.

In one place, sinful souls were being crushed in grinding machines. In another, they were hung upside down. Elsewhere, they were tied to burning pillars and subjected to extreme heat. In some places, the messengers of Yamraj were chewing and devouring the sinners. Many souls were running in fear, trying to escape, but none could.

There were exactly eighty-four pits of hell, each designed for different punishments. These were not small or symbolic. Each pit was immense, with a depth of approximately 12 kilometres and a circumference of approximately 48 kilometres, and the foul stench from them spread outward for the same distance.

The contents of these pits varied. Some were filled with blood, some with pus, and others with urine. In another pit, intense fire was burning, and countless souls were continuously being burned within it. This pit was vast, deep, and filled entirely with flames.

This was not a brief or partial view. King Amar Singh saw these scenes directly, and the fear was so intense that he became silent and overwhelmed.

Precise Punishments for Specific Actions

What King Amar Singh witnessed next was even more exact. Each punishment corresponded directly to a specific action performed during life.

Those who lied for selfish purposes had their tongues cut off. Those who gave false testimony were given tongues like serpents. Those who killed innocent beings were being beaten severely.

Women who abandoned their husbands for immoral relationships were burned in fire, bound to burning forms shaped like human bodies. Men who engaged in relations with another man’s wife were tied to burning pillars shaped like women.

Other sinners were subjected to different forms of suffering. Vultures and crows were pecking at their bodies. Those who consumed alcohol were forced to drink boiling oil.

Kabir Sahib clearly described that these punishments were exact and unavoidable.

Further Detailed Punishments Across Hell

Kabir Sahib continued to explain the punishments in even greater detail.

Those who commit the killing of a learned spiritual person are given the most severe punishment. Those who betray trust, kill their teacher or master, or harm children or the elderly are thrown into boiling oil.

Those who seize others’ property, take land unlawfully, or manipulate boundaries are cast into terrible hells where their heads are cut off.

Those who steal, oppose their spiritual teacher, consume intoxicants, lie, or speak ill of others are all punished accordingly.

Those who obstruct others in their spiritual practice, refuse to engage with spiritual knowledge, or become disturbed upon hearing about God and mislead others are subjected to extreme suffering. Their bodies are eaten by animals in hell.

Those who kill friends fall into severe hells. Those who steal from their teacher (Guru) are thrown into pits filled with worms.

Those who assume the position of a spiritual guide but engage in immoral conduct, rulers who harm their people, disciples who maintain doubt after initiation, and judges who act with bias all face severe punishment.

Those who falsely accuse others without knowledge have their eyes destroyed by the messengers of Yamraj.

Those who insult God, their teacher, or sacred knowledge are made to sit on sharp iron spikes and are beaten with spiked weapons.

Those who abandon their spouse without true renunciation and engage in immoral relationships are also cast into hell and suffer for an extended period, bound and tortured.

The Court of Yamraj and the Final Judgement

After witnessing all of this, King Amar Singh was brought back to the court of judgement. There, Kabir Sahib was seated on a throne.

The king, completely terrified, fell at His feet and begged for protection. He pleaded to be saved from the suffering he had just witnessed.

Hearing this, Dharamdas also became fearful and asked Kabir Sahib to explain further.

Kabir Sahib then described the system of judgement in full detail. In Yamlok, Yamraj sits on a central throne. In front of him is an open space where souls are presented. On three sides sit his messengers.

Other learned beings, including sages and scholars, are also present there. After death, they assist in evaluating the actions of souls. Together, they examine every action performed.

Chitra and Gupta present the complete record—every visible and hidden action. The chief record keepers compile and present the full account, and Yamraj delivers judgement with complete accuracy.

Souls who perform virtuous actions are sent to heaven, while those who commit sinful actions are sent to hell. After experiencing both, the soul takes birth again and continues to experience suffering according to its past actions.

A Complete and Unavoidable System of Justice

Kabir Sahib made it clear to Dharamdas that this entire system operates without error. Every action is recorded, every detail is examined, and every consequence is delivered precisely.

This narration provides a full and detailed account of Yamlok and hell, including the exact number of pits, their size, their contents, and the specific punishments given for each action. It presents a complete picture of the system of justice that every soul must face after death, as witnessed directly by King Amar Singh under the guidance of Kabir Sahib.
