Saint Kabir was a 15th-century mystic, poet, and spiritual teacher whose teachings transcend religious and cultural boundaries. According to Kabir Sagar, he was the incarnation of the Supreme God who descended on Earth to impart true spiritual knowledge and guide humanity towards liberation (moksha). Kabir emphasized that he is beyond birth and death, having manifested in his divine form directly on a lotus flower in Lahartara Lake, Varanasi. His mission was to free souls trapped by Kaal (the deceptive force governing the material world) and to reveal the eternal truth about the Creator, devotion, and salvation.
Kabir denounced rituals, idol worship, and false religious practices, advocating for a direct connection with the Supreme Creator through true spiritual knowledge (gyan) and Satnam (true name). His teachings highlight the futility of superficial worship and stress the importance of recognizing the Supreme Power, who is distinct from material gods like Brahm, Vishnu, and Shiva.
