Regarding the Lineage of Saint Dharmdas Ji

Question: The followers of the Dama Kheda seat claim that receiving initiation from this lineage ensures liberation. Is this true?

Answer: Saint Dharmdas Ji’s eldest son, Shri Narayan Das, was actually a messenger sent by Kaal. Despite being repeatedly advised, he refused to take initiation from Supreme God Kabir Sahib Ji. Out of deep affection for his son, Saint Dharmdas Ji was heartbroken. To relieve his agony, God Kabir Sahib revealed the true identity of Narayan Das.

Shocked by this revelation, Saint Dharmdas Ji said, “O Lord! Then my lineage must belong to Kaal.” Saying this, he fainted from grief. When he regained consciousness after some time, he remained deeply distressed.

To console His dear devotee, God Kabir Sahib said, “Do not worry about your lineage. Narayan Das is a messenger of Kaal. His lineage will be completely wiped out. But your lineage will continue for forty-two (42) generations.”

Saint Dharmdas Ji replied, “O Merciful Lord! I have only one son, Narayan Das.”

God Kabir Sahib assured him, “By My command, you will be blessed with a virtuous son, and only through him will your lineage continue.”

Saint Dharmdas Ji said, “O Lord! Your servant has grown old, and the possibility of having another child is gone. Also, your disciple Bhaktmati Amini Devi has ceased her monthly cycle.”

God Kabir replied, “By My command, you will have a son. Name him Chudamani.”

Saying this, God Kabir gave Dharmdas Ji a divine vision of his future son playing in the courtyard, then disappeared.

Soon thereafter, Bhaktmati Amini Devi gave birth to a son, who was named Shri Chudamani Ji. The elder brother, Narayan Das, became envious of Chudamani Ji and, due to his jealousy, Chudamani Ji left Bandhavgarh and went to live in Kudramal (a city in present-day Madhya Pradesh).

God Kabir Sahib instructed Saint Dharmdas Ji to give his son Chudamani only the First Mantra (which is given today by Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj). This would preserve righteousness and ensure the continuation of the lineage.

However, God warned that in the seventh generation, a messenger of Kaal would arise. He would abandon the true First Mantra and begin promoting self-made names (mantras). The remaining spirituality would be destroyed by the eleventh, thirteenth, and seventeenth spiritual heads (mahants) of the seat.

Thus, true devotion would vanish from the lineage. Still, the lineage of Saint Dharmdas Ji would continue until forty-two (42) generations, after which it too would be extinguished.

This account reveals that merely belonging to a lineage or receiving initiation from a traditional seat like Dama Kheda does not guarantee liberation. Only initiation from a true Tatvdarshi Saint, who gives the original First Mantra of God Kabir Sahib, leads to salvation.

Evidence from the book Sumiran Sharan Gah Bayalis Vansh, Author: Mahant Shri Hari Singh Rathore, page 52:

Verses:

93. “Sun Dharman nijo vansh nashaayi, jin ki katha kahun samjhaayi.” Listen, Dharmdas, your lineage will be destroyed. Let Me narrate this story to you.

94. “Kaal chhapeta devai aayi, mam sir nahi dosh kachhu bhaayi.” Kaal will strike them down; O brother, there will be no fault on My part.

95. “Sapt, Ekadash, Trayodash ansha, aru Satraah ye chaaro vansha.” The seventh, eleventh, thirteenth, and seventeenth generations—these four lineages—

96. “Inko Kaal chhalega bhaai, mithya vachan hamara na jaai.” —will be deceived by Kaal, O brother. My words will not prove false.

97. “Jab jab vansh haani hoi jaai, shaakha vansh karai guruwai.” Whenever the main lineage declines, the offshoots (branches) will take over the succession.

98. “Das hazaar shaakha hoi hai, purush ansh vo hi kehlaahi hai.” There will be ten thousand branches; they will be considered as descendants.

99. “Vansh bhed yahi hai saara, moorakh jeev paavai nahi paara.” This is the full mystery of the lineage; foolish beings will not understand it.

100. “Bhatakat phirihain doorahi daura, vansh bilaay gaye kehi thoura.” They wander confused in two paths; the original lineage disappeared somewhere.

101. “Sab apni buddhi kahai bhaai, ansh vansh sab gaye nasai.” Everyone interprets based on their own understanding; the entire lineage lost the essence.

Explanation:

In the above verses, Supreme God Kabir Ji is speaking to His personal devotee, Saint Dharmdas Ji. He says:

“Dharmdas, devotion will eventually be destroyed from your lineage. Let Me explain how. In the seventh generation, a messenger of Kaal will be born. He will eliminate true devotion from your family. Instead of the original First Mantra that you are to give, he will introduce other self-created names (mantras).”

The destruction of true righteousness will be completed by the eleventh, thirteenth, and seventeenth mahants (heads) of your lineage. My words will not go in vain, O Dharmdas. All your descendants—both main and branch—will become devoid of devotion. Each will follow self-conceived spiritual practices and traditions. They will become gurus based on this ignorance.

Your main lineage will sprout ten thousand branches. Whenever a child is not born in the main succession line, these branch-lineage successors will take over the spiritual seat. However, true devotion and spiritual knowledge will end by the sixth generation itself. Afterwards, all will propagate ignorance according to their own understanding.

Note: In verse 95 above, the word ‘Sapt’ (seventh) is mentioned, stating that Kaal will deceive the seventh-generation successor. This version is taken from the book Sumiran Sharan Gah Bayalis Vansh, written by a mahant. It claims that the seventh-generation spiritual head of the lineage was deceived by Kaal.

However, there seems to be an error in this claim. For authentic confirmation, please refer to the certified holy scripture Kabir Sagar, in the chapter Anurag Sagar, page 140 (photocopy), and page 9 of the same book. There it is clearly stated that the sixth-generation (sixth seat-holder) was deceived by a false Kabir Panthi of the Taksaari sect, who was actually a messenger of Kaal. He began promoting Kaal’s path as his own.

That version is accurate.

Regardless of whether true devotion was destroyed in the sixth or seventh generation, the reality today is that only Kaal worship is being promoted by the descendants of Saint Dharmdas Ji at Damakheda, Dharmanagar, under the leadership of Shri Prakash Muni.

Now please read the following photocopy of the holy scripture Kabir Sagar, Chapter “Anurag Sagar”, pages 138 (262), 139 (263), 140 (264), and 141 (265):

Anurag Sagar

This photocopy is from page 138 (262) of Kabir Sagar, Chapter “Anurag Sagar.” Supreme God Kabir Ji said to Dharmdas Ji:

“I will briefly describe what will happen in the future within the lineage sect that arises from you. Pride will enter the mahants (spiritual heads) of your lineage tradition. The nature of your ‘bind’ (descendants) will be such that they will not renounce their pride.”

On the ninth line from the bottom of page 138, it is written: “Ansh mor supanth chalaavai hai, taahi dekh so raad badhaavai hai.” ("My own part who runs the true path is opposed and obstructed by others.")

Meaning: Supreme God Kabir Ji said: “The spiritual heads from your lineage will oppose the descendant (ansh) of Mine who will establish the true Kabir Panth (Path).”

Other lines on this page convey that God Kabir told Dharmdas: “Your lineage successors will not accept My true representative. Instead, they will spread their own ignorance to the people. Out of selfishness, they will mislead countless souls away from the true Kabir Path.”

O Dharmdas! Therefore, instruct your descendants: “When My Naad-bearing representative (i.e., Saint Rampal Das Ji Maharaj) manifests in the middle generation of Kaliyug, meet him with love and attain your welfare through him.”

Supreme God Kabir Ji also defined what “Naad Putra” (Son of Divine Word) means: “Just as you (Dharmdas Ji) are the son (part) of My Naad (Divine Speech), likewise, from the 12th Panth of Garibdas, the one who appears bearing My Divine Speech will be My true part (Ansh).”

Then He also clarified: “Not all those who bear My Naad (Speech) will be righteous. For example, I revived a boy named Kamal from the dead and made him My Naad Putra (by giving him initiation), but he deceived Me too. I denounced him and pronounced him devotionless.”

(Further details continue on the bottom of page 139.)

Anurag Sagar

This photocopy is from page 139 of Kabir Sagar, Chapter “Anurag Sagar.” The topic continues from page 138.

Supreme God Kabir Ji said:

“O Dharmdas! I am a companion of loving devotion. I cannot change My principles for the sake of greed. Whoever remembers Me with love and devotion—I will always remain with them.

From the third line from the top on page 139, the meaning of the verses is as follows:

Supreme God Kabir Ji said: “O Dharmdas! If I were pleased with arrogant devotees, then I would have revealed the true knowledge of Naam (the divine word) to the pandits and qazis. Why did I give it to you? Because you possess humility. That is why I will entrust the Guru position only to that Naad Putra (Son of the Divine Word) who remains in the spirit of servitude (das-bhav).”

“Your descendants will be egoistic, claiming, ‘We are the sons of Dharmdas’s lineage. We are the greatest in the world.’ O Dharmdas! Wherever there is ego, I (Supreme Kabir) am not present. Only Kaal resides there.”

Dear readers, reflect upon this: Supreme Kabir Ji used to refer to Himself as Kabir Das (servant Kabir). Dharmdas Ji also called himself Dharmdas . But the descendants of Dharmdas now refer to themselves as Sahib (Master), for example: “Panth Shri Prakash Muni Naam Sahib,” “Panth Shri Grandh Muni Naam Sahib,” etc.

On the other hand, Saint Rampal Ji refers to himself as ‘Das’—Rampal Das, even calling himself ‘the dog of Supreme God.’

From this, it is easy to understand what the truth is. There isn’t just “a flaw in the dish”—the entire dish is flawed.

Then Dharmdas prayed, “O Lord! How will the salvation of my descendants happen?”

Supreme Kabir Ji replied: “Those who receive Naam (initiation) from the Naad Putra sent by Me, and perform firm devotion, O Dharmdas! How will they not attain salvation?”

“I have liberated your 42 generations with a single promise: That if your descendants receive initiation from My Naad Putra (Saint Rampal Das Ji Maharaj) and perform devotion, then all of them will attain complete liberation.”

"Your ‘bind’ (seed) refers to the gaddi holders—your lineage heads. If they receive initiation from that Naad-bearing representative (whom I will send in the middle generation of Kaliyug), then both minor and major (young and old) among your lineage will be liberated."

“As for the continuation of your lineage up to 42 generations, I, the Almighty, have taken the responsibility that your lineage will certainly continue for 42 generations.”

This same assurance was also given to Saint Garibdas Ji by Supreme Kabir Ji, and it is written in the Satgranth (True Scripture).

In the context of Dharmdas Ji, it is written:

“Vansh biyalees rahe tera ansh re” (Your lineage will continue for 42 generations) Salvation will happen through My part from the Naad tradition.

Anurag Sagar

This photocopy is from page 140 of the chapter “Anurag Sagar” in Kabir Sagar.

It clearly states that:

Supreme God Kabir Ji said: “Just as I have made Chudamani, who is from your bind (lineage), My disciple, he has become My Naad Putra (Son of the Divine Word). I will bestow the Guru position to Chudamani. I will give him only the first mantra (the Five-Name Mantra), and I will instruct Chudamani to pass this mantra on to others.”

“Your bind (lineage descendants) will receive initiation from him, and they will be benefited only to the extent that the Five-Name Mantra provides. However, your descendants will be ignorant (foolish).

After Chudamani, by the sixth successor on the lineage throne, a false Kabir Panthi from the ‘Taksari Panth’ will mislead him. Because of this, the true mantra of devotion and the true method of worship that I gave to Chudamani will be lost.

Then, the followers of the Taksari Panth will start giving initiation with false five mantras (like Ami Naam, Adi Naam, Amar... etc.), and will begin fake rituals like Aarti and Chaunka (ritualistic worship), which are currently being performed by the lineage holders of Dharmdas Ji at Damakheda.

As a result, many souls will fall back into the suffering of the 8.4 million life forms (birth-death cycle).

Your lineage holders will consider themselves superior and will oppose the Naad Ansh (divine representative sent by Me). Your descendants will be lacking in wisdom and will become obstacles to the true Kabir Panth (path) of the Vachan Vansh (the one I will send during the middle generation of Kaliyug when 5505 years have passed).

In this way, they will become participants in sin.

Then Dharmdas Ji said: “O Lord, on one hand, You had said that my lineage would continue for 42 generations without hindrance, and Kaal (the evil being) would not come near them. Now You are saying that they will fall under the influence of Kaal and won’t engage in true devotion?”

Supreme God Kabir Ji replied: “Dharmdas! What I said was: If your descendants follow My command, then they will not come under Kaal’s control. Even so, I will protect your lineage and ensure their liberation. I will send My Naad Ansh (Saint Rampal Das Ji Maharaj). If your descendants do not accept him, then it will be their own fault.

Note: The Damakheda followers have published a book titled “Yatharth Kabir Panth Rahasya” (The True Secret of Kabir Panth) to mislead devotees. On page 83 of that book, they have quoted a Sakhi (sacred verse) from the Kabir Sagar, chapter “Kabir Bani,” page 140 (1004). However, they have omitted one line, which is crucial.

Please refer to the photocopy of page 140 (1004) to see the omitted line.

Kabir Bani

This photocopy is from page 140 (1004) of the chapter “Kabir Bani” in Kabir Sagar. In the third line from the bottom, it is written:

“Atak kaahu ki tum jin maano, paan (paanch) naam tum nischay jaano.” (Note: The word “paan” is a printing error. It should be “paanch” meaning “five.”)

Meaning: Supreme God Kabir Ji told Dharmdas Ji: “I command you to give only the Five Naam (mantras). Your lineage will be given Guruship based only on these Five Naam.” However, it is clearly stated on page 140 (264) of Anurag Sagar that: “After the sixth generation, even these real Five Naam will no longer remain with your descendants.”

This photocopy is from pages 83–84 of the book Yatharth Kabir Panth Rahasya, which has been produced by the followers of Damakheda. It contains Contradiction No. 2, where it claims:

“There is no evidence in Kabir Sagar that the sixth-generation lineage holder will change the real mantras. All of this is false.”

Readers, please examine page 9 of this same book, which contains a photocopy from Anurag Sagar, chapter page 140. There it is clearly written:

“I will make your son Chudamani, who belongs to your bind (lineage), a part of My Naad (Word) essence, meaning I will accept him as My disciple and definitely grant him the Guru position.”

But it also says:

“The sixth successor in this tradition will be misled by a fake Kabir Panthi from the ‘Taksari Panth’. As a result, your sixth-generation successor will adopt the mantras and rituals of the Taksari Panth such as false mantras and Aarti-Chaunka rituals.”

After this, this distorted method of initiation will continue among your lineage holders. As a result, many souls will once again take birth in the 8.4 million life forms (species).

It further states:

“Both the major and minor gaddi (thrones) in your lineage will follow this flawed practice. When the main lineage has no successor, then branches of the family will form new thrones and continue the Guru tradition. In this way, your lineage will continue for 42 generations, but due to lack of true devotion, they will not attain liberation (moksha).

Therefore, make sure to tell them:

“When 5505 years of Kaliyug have passed, My Naad (Word) essence, who is My grace-receiver, will appear in the 12th Panth (Garib Das Panth). He will possess the complete method of true devotion. Meet him with love. Do not oppose him. Take initiation from the lineage of My divine speech (Vachan Vansh) and get your salvation.”

Finally, Kabir Sahib warns:

“When Kaal infiltrates My path (panth) and attacks it—causing its decline—then, time and again, I will reveal My Vachan Vansh (Word lineage) to guide the misled devotee society back onto the true path.”

Kabir Panth Rahasya

Kabir Panth Rahasya

These two photocopies are from pages 83 and 84 of the book “Yatharth Kabir Panth Rahasya,” which have been created by the followers of Damakheda. They have tried to criticize the knowledge presented in the book “Yatharth Kabir Panth Parichay” to spread confusion.

In this, they attempt to claim that: “A so-called Kabir incarnation (Sant Rampal Das Ji) wrote wrongly that true devotion will end after the seventh generation.”

Dear readers! Have you yourself read page 9 of this very book, which contains a photocopy from Kabir Sagar, chapter Anurag Sagar, page 140 (264)? There, Supreme God Kabir Ji clearly states in explicit words that: “The guru of the sixth generation of your lineage (bind) will be misled by the followers of the ‘Taksari Panth.’ After that, the gurus of your lineage will perform the ‘Taksari’ type of initiation, ritual offerings (paan pravan), and aarti-chaunka. Because of this, many souls will be forced to suffer by taking birth in 8.4 million life forms.”

Kabir Parameshwar has also clearly said: “My word will not go unfulfilled.”

Now, readers, the followers of Damakheda will cry over how false and deceitful they are. Despite this, they continue to mislead the devotee society and run their own business.

Regarding such messengers of the age, Supreme God Kabir Ji said:

“Kabir, jaan booj saachi taje, kare jhooth se neh,
Taaki sangat he prabhu, swapan mein bhi na de.”

Anurag Sagar

This photocopy is from page 141 of Kabir Sagar, chapter Anurag Sagar. In this, Supreme God Kabir Ji again says:

“O Dharmdas! Just as you are my Naad son (initiated disciple son by name initiation), I have shown you the path of salvation (moksh). Likewise, I will send my Naad lineage (Sant Rampal Das Ji Maharaj will come in the middle generation, after 5505 years of Kalyug have passed) and by ending the corrupted method of devotion in your lineage, I will unite your 42 generations with the true Kabir Panth (path) and help them cross over (attain liberation).

If they take initiation from that Naad lineage (Sant Rampal Das Ji Maharaj), then it is clearly explained, Dharmdas! The truth is this: Whether they belong to the Naad (disciple tradition) or the Bind (lineage), whoever worships according to the true Kabir Panth (path), only they will attain welfare (salvation). Without a Guru, there is no salvation.

Love your Naad lineage (the saints of the disciple tradition). If you want to escape the deception of Kaal (time), then explain this to your lineage members.

On this page 141 (Anurag Sagar), it is also made clear that my true Kabir Panth (path) has been revived by the Naad (disciple tradition) alone. This is the proof of all four ages (yugas).”
