Introduction to the Fourteenth Mahant Gaddi

On page 49 of the book “Dhani Dharmdas Jeevan Darshan evam Vansh Parichay”, it is written:

After the thirteenth Mahant Dayanam, there was turmoil in the Kabir Panth. The cycle of Kaal (Time/Kaal Brahm) began, as there was no biological son in this tradition. To maintain the arrangement temporarily, Mahant Kashidas Ji was given the ceremonial cloth (chadar).

Some time later, Kashidas declared himself the Acharya of Kabir Panth and established a separate seat (gaddi) in Kharsiya. Seeing this, the three mothers began to weep, saying that the cycle of Kaal had started.

Later, for the sake of the Kabir Panth, the eldest mother Sahib handed over the gaddi to a two-and-a-half-year-old child named Chaturbhuj Sahib, who became known as “Granthmuni Naam Sahib.”

Think about it: What name or spiritual knowledge can a 2.5-year-old child give? The mother seated him on the gaddi, and the son became a Mahant—even though he did not know the ABCs of devotion.

The descendants of Sant Dharmdas Ji have been misleading innocent devotees with folk tales (loka-veda). Mahant Kashidas Ji started a fake Kabir Panthi gaddi in Kharsiya. From that very Kharsiya, a certain Uditnaam Sahib started a self-willed gaddi at Lahartara Pond in Kashi (Varanasi).

In Kabir Chaura, Kashi, Shri Gangasharan Shastri Ji is also separately seated on a Mahant post. But none of them have any knowledge of tatv gyan (true spiritual knowledge) or true devotion.

From the above account, dear devotee readers, you can decide for yourselves—do the Mahants of Damakheda have true devotion, or is it all a show?

After Shri Chudamani Ji departed to Kudarmal, Bandhavgarh was completely destroyed. This fact still stands as evidence today.

Question: The Damakheda Gaddi Mahants claim that Kabir Ji had said: “As long as the gaddi of your 42 generations continues, I will not come to Earth again, i.e., I will not give the order of Naam initiation to anyone else.”

Answer: That is a fabricated story. In Kabir Sagar, in the chapter Kabir Bani on pages 136–137, Kabir Ji mentions twelve panths while delivering His spiritual speech, which are as follows:

Explanation of the Mention of Twelve Panths

In the above-mentioned vani (verse), there is a description of twelve panths (spiritual lineages), along with the prophecy that divine love will manifest in the year Samvat 1775, and "Our speech (bani) will be revealed." (Sant Garibdas Ji Maharaj of Chhudani, Haryana, was born on the full moon of Vaishakh month in Samvat 1774. He met God Kabir in Samvat 1784. This verse refers to that very event. The mention of Samvat 1775 is a scribal error and should correctly be 1774. Another possible reason is that the Indian calendar begins with the month of Chaitra, while Vaishakh comes after it. Sometimes, two Chaitras are also inserted in a year. In those days, education was extremely scarce—every village had only one person who could tell dates, and even he was usually uneducated. He would inquire about dates from some Brahmin in a nearby town or village and inform the villagers accordingly. For such reasons, the mention of Samvat 1775 instead of Samvat 1774 might have occurred. In truth, this verse refers specifically to Sant Garibdas Ji.)

Meaning: Supreme God Kabir opened the divine knowledge (Gyan Yog) of Sant Garibdas Ji and revealed His own true spiritual knowledge through him, which is now compiled in the Satgranth Sahib. This became necessary because the original Kabir Vani had been corrupted by fake Kabir panthis. Therefore, God Kabir caused His glory to be re-manifested, although the essence (Tatvabhed) of true knowledge remained hidden—something that is now being revealed in the present time.

Due to this, the Garibdas Panth lacks the complete tatvagyan (essential spiritual knowledge), and its followers have interpreted the verses of Garibdas Ji inaccurately, thus wasting their human lives. As a result, even after countless births, they cannot attain liberation. Only one true saint, from the lineage of Saint Sheetaldas Ji, maintained the secret transmission of the Saar Naam (the essential mantra), passing it from one saint to only one disciple with an oath of secrecy. The disciple, when guided by the command of Supreme God Kabir, would be allowed to pass it on further. In this way, the Saar Naam was transmitted unbroken until it reached this das (humble servant).

Now, by the command of God Kabir Sahib, this Saar Naam is being made available to all eligible and faithful devotees. Therefore, it was said that the twelfth panth, which is the Garibdas Panth, will guide souls using the testimony of our speech (God Kabir’s Sakhi), but due to being unaware of the true mantra, the followers of the Garibdas Panth will remain barred from reaching Satlok (the Eternal Abode), regardless of countless rebirths.

These twelve panths will indeed authenticate us (God Kabir) and follow devotion, but they will not attain the permanent place (Satlok). In the future, God Kabir Himself will appear in the twelfth panth (Garibdas Panth), and He will abolish all twelve panths and establish one true path. Until that time, the Saar Shabd (essential mantra) must remain hidden.

This prophecy has also been confirmed by Sant Garibdas Ji Maharaj in his divine speech Asur Nikandan Ramaini, where he says:

"Satguru Delhi Mandal aayasi, sooti dharti soom jagayasi."

This refers to the old Rohtak region, now comprising districts like Sonipat, Jhajjar, and Rohtak, which was earlier known as Delhi Mandal and governed under British rule.

Further evidence of the twelve panths can be found in Kabir Charitra Bodh (Bodh Sagar), page 1870, where the twelfth panth is clearly listed as that of Sant Garibdas Ji.

Description of the Twelve Panths Originating Through Kaal’s Gateway in Kabir Sahib's Panth — As Recorded in Kabir Charitra Bodh (Kabir Sagar), Page No. 1870:

  1. Narayan Das Ji’s Panth
  2. Yagodas (Jagu) Panth
  3. Surat Gopal Panth
  4. Mool Niranjan Panth
  5. Taksar Panth
  6. Bhagwan Das (Brahm) Panth
  7. Satnami Panth
  8. Kamali (of Kamal the Fifth) Panth
  9. Ram Kabir Panth
  10. Prem Dham (Param Dham) Vani Panth
  11. Jeeva Panth
  12. Garibdas Panth

If Supreme God Kabir had ever said, “Until the lineage of Dharmdas continues, I will not set foot on Earth again,” meaning He would not reappear on Earth—then He would not have met 7-year-old Saint Dadu Sahib Ji in the year 1551 (33 years after His return to Satlok in 1518 CE), nor would He have met 10-year-old Saint Garibdas Ji in the village of Chhudani, District Jhajjar (Haryana, India) in 1727 CE—209 years later. Nor would He have given initiation (Naamdan) to Garibdas Ji and instructed him to initiate others.

Then again, 292 years later, He would not have met 7-year-old Saint Ghisa Das Ji in the village of Khekra, District Meerut (Uttar Pradesh), who remains a living testimony to this day. The divine vani (speech) composed by the above saints stands as sworn testimony (affidavit) that Supreme God Kabir Ji, the weaver Dhānak of Kashi, personally gave them divine visions, showed them Satlok, and demonstrated His supreme power.

To this das (servant), Rampal Das, Supreme God Kabir Sahib appeared on the first day of the bright fortnight (Shukla Paksha Ekam) of the Phalgun month in Samvat 2054 (March 1997), at 10 AM. He revealed the truth about the Saar Shabd (essential mantra) and gave the indication of the appropriate time to begin distributing it to the faithful. After this, He disappeared and ordered that this knowledge be kept secret until further command.
